Many of us have the opportunity to make the future better through organ and tissue donations. The staff at Olson Funeral and Cremation Services is prepared to counsel you on the specifics of organ, tissue, and body donation.

Donors are vital to transplant recipients and ongoing research. Because of your selfless gift, lives may be improved or saved.

It is important that you share your decision to be a donor with family members. While a signed donor card and a driver’s license with an “organ donor” designation are legal documents, organ and tissue donation should be discussed. Your medical condition at the time of death will determine which organs and tissues can be donated. There is no cost to the donor’s family or estate for organ and tissue donation. Funeral costs, however, remain the responsibility of the family. The staff at Olson Funeral and Cremation Services is ready assist you in making this important decision.
