Condolences & Shared Memories (12)

David I only knew you for a short time here on earth, but our connection was genuine. You were an honest man with a clear soul that I could tell. You called me last week and said we would talk this week. I guess now our conversation will have to wait alittle longer. I pray that the Lord gives your family the strength to carry on. I know what it is to lose someone as a child. I was 9 when my father suddenly passed away. But he did not leave my side. Talk to you soon David. Bo

Thank you for sharing this. I wish I could have made it out to say goodbye to my dear friend. He taught me so much in such a short time. I'm grateful that I was able to share some laughs with him and that he was able to introduce me to H.R. Pufinstuf (lol). Goodbye brother, you will be dearly missed.

  3. Susan Leitman

My late husband and I met David here in Pensacola when he worked for Dr Peach. He became part of our extended family. He was a good man that always put his children 1st. He was kind, caring and humerous guy. We had many long talks after he moved up north. He vowed that he would be moving back and I am so sorry that did not happen. Dave you will forever be in the hearts of each of The Leitmans. May you rest in peace and you are loved....

My sincere condolences to the family. David was a good friend for a long time. He was such a character! He had so much to offer the world. I always told him he had so much potential. He was very good at his trade. He could have gone so far and accomplished so much more. But Davids life was full of road blocks & challenges. I felt like his surrogate mother actually. When he lost his mom he felt so alone. He still needed her. He thought he was attracted to me but i always new he just needed whatever I could offer him. Friendship, acceptance, support, even love. He was very special and I will never forget him. ðŸ'"

My thoughts and prayers are with your family right now. I was so saddened to hear of my old friends untimely passing. Even though we haven't spoken much recently, David was always a great friend to me and he will never be forgotten. I truly wish that I could attend the memorial: unfortunately its too great a distance for me to travel but you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
