Piper family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Nic had a very special place in our hearts. There was many a time that he would come over and we just talked about life, his wonderful children and anything else that came up. I will cherish those moments forever. My heart is broken for all of you. May God grant you peace and strength during this very difficult time.

  5. Sue Bartusevicius

His smile could light up a room. I remember, not so long ago, helping him with his bow tie as we helped Nic and my son got ready for prom. So young and filled with anticipation, his eyes sparkled and he beamed from ear to ear. The last time I saw him, he hadn't changed a bit... same sparkling eyes, same infectious smile, same big bear hug, same sweet, kind young man (only a bit more "buff"). Nic had a gift of making everyone feel special, the world was a better place with him in it. My heart goes out to his family, his children, and his many friends and I pray you are able to find peace and comfort in your cherished memories. Gone way too soon, he will be sorely missed by so many, rest in peace Nic

The first time I met Nic, he wasn't quite two. He brought his stuffed animals out and I was surrounded by them. He then crawled in my lap and I rubbed his back until he slept, what a sweet child he was. Many years later when Todd bought a house by my father's I had the pleasure to meet Nic again as an adult. The sweet side didn't leave him. Todd, Mary you raised a good man. I am so very sorry for your family to suffer such a loss. My thoughts are prayers are with you.

What a warm and genuine guy. From the skinny little teen showing off his black and blue tongue "piercing", to the bone crushing hug the last time we met, Nick always came with, and left behind a smile. It's sad to say goodbye, but every memory brings back that smile. Sleep well my friend,

  37. Stefanie Roberts

Nic was an amazing friend and I was lucky enough to call him a friend. He was such a loving soul and would be there if you ever needed him. He'll forever be in my heart and I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

  38. Brent

Nic was without a doubt one of the most real, straight forward, honest and patriotic people I've ever had the honor of knowing. If you were a friend of Nics, you were Family and family meant the world to him. There wasn't a single thing in the world he wouldn't do for his family no matter what extreme he had to go through to make it happen. Wish i had been better about staying in touch these last few years cause you never really realize how important people are until they're gone. I love ya like a brother man! R.I.P Nic and ill see ya on the other side 👍👍

  39. Cynthia Charlton

  40. Vickie Bullis

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Nic, who was working as an apprentice for Ken Puddicomb, do some beautiful brickwork for us many years ago. He was an extremely hard worker and did exceptional work matching the already existing brick work. I was delighted to run into him years later when his son, Cash, played soccer with my granddaughter and I was so touched watching him in his role as a dad....sweet sweet man!! My sincerest condolences to his family...his passing breaks our hearts!

I remember Nick had some road rash from an accident. David, John and I were at the old big porch house and Nick had come home. The scabs and bruises were really bad and Nick asked his brothers to help put on ointment where he couldn't reach. It was a struggle at first, but both brothers accepted what had happened and helped Nick out. The Pipers were a second home in middle and high school for me not only because of just being friends, but the overall love that was spread throughout the household. Every Piper in my book are some of the greatest, well rounded people I've ever met in my entire life. It's a tragedy that another one has left us. He will always be remembered and missed.
