Haylee Ann Rine, our angel girl went to be with Jesus on Dec. 23, 2017. She left us in her sleep of a lung infection. She was our precious love. We only had her 22 short years. She's dancing, laughing and praising God. She was proud that she earned her diploma and she was a 3rd degree black belt and won many championship trophies. She was Dad's "Angel Ninja". She loved to teach little children and encourage them, they called her Miss Haylee. She gave away many of her trophies to kids that didn't win any. She had a wonderful, loving, giving heart and was loved by everyone. She really got close to God and read her Bible every day. She was proud that she read 300 books in the last six months.
She is survived by her dad, Ken Rine; grandparents, retired pastors Ken and Vicky Ann Rine; uncle, Kelly Rine; aunt, Karen (Andrew) Baxter; cousins, Jordan and Moses; mom, Penny Borchmann; sister, Savanna Adotta; nephew, Isaac; and grandma Donna Akey.
Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Deliverance Crusader Church (the old Girl Scout building), 2101 Auburn St., Rockford.
In lieu of flowers, all donations after funeral expenses will go the Rosecrance in her name.

A Gift From Heaven

I am with you always
I live in your heart
I speak to your soul
We are not far apart

When you feel a light breeze
Hear the songs the birds sing
Know that I can see every smile
Your kindness can bring

I see you building your dreams
With wisdom and grace
And asking His guidance
With each challenge you face

I am more than a memory
You will feel our love grow
I am forever your angel
Some things you just know

Please tell me your thoughts
Your hopes and your fears
And know that through faith
He will heal all your tears

For today, I can share
That in Heaven above
God has taken my hand
I am complete, I am love

I told her when I was a girl I knew her grandparents and dad and aunt and uncle. She liked that and mentioned it everytime I seen her.Im sorry for your loss. My dearest memories of Haylee are watching her in her karate class, she was really good at it and made it look easy. ( I always hoped she would have a place of her own to teach kids). And another time was when my sisters and I talked her into playing badminton with us during a family picnic. She told us that she hadn't laughed so much in a long time. She was a sweet girl...she still is, for she is alive with the Lord. We will see her again, then we'll have another fun game of badminton! You better be practicing Haylee!
