Obituary

Leroy S. Crall, 85, of Loves Park, went to be with Jesus on January 6, 2016, in SwedishAmerican. He was born on February 20, 1930, in Janesville, WI; the son of Seth and Dora (Updike) Crall. He married Jessica Stephens- Furno on Nov. 11, 1977, in Rockton, IL. He was employed with Sundstrand Machine Tool where he worked as a supervisor. He was on involved with TIFF Board of Loves Park.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica of Loves Park, IL; children, Sandy (Joe) Panzica of Utica, IL, Pastor Dale (Jan) Crall of Peoria, IL, Brian (Cyndi) Crall of Lexington, KY, and Sam (Michele) Furno of Fair Oaks, CA; grandchildren, Samantha, Elise, Matt Furno, Nicole (Kevin) Buckholz, Aliea, Michelle and Gabrielle Crall; siblings, Jerry (Joyce) Crall, Joanne Day , Calvin Crall, Allyn (Diane) Carlson; and special nephews, Jeremy (Cherish) Trout and their children, Isaac, Joe, Isabella and Robert (Judy) Trout. He is predeceased by his daughter, Crystal Purcell; brothers, Eli and Frank; and sisters, Betty Kerr and Kathryn Carlin. The family would like to thank their special friends, Evon Dowd and Becky Schammel for all they did.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016, in Olson Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016, in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services, Ltd., Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave. Rockford with Rev. Dale Crall officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at Olson Chapel.     I worked with Leroy at Fireworks in Rockford and he was our member at the Credit Union. MACU. He loved talking about his family and all their accomplishments in life. I will miss seeing him come in the Credit Union. Peace and Prayers for you all.
