Grace E. Jurgens, 62, of Rockford passed away July 12, 2017. Born November 10, 1954, in Rockford; the daughter of John and Ruth (Asker) Jurgens. Graduate of West High School class of 1972. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her step-children, Tanya (Tom) Shank, and Stephanie (Herald) May; grandchildren, Abi, Sarah, and Michael; siblings, Carolyn (Dennis) Politic, Linda (Michael) Strang, Bruce (Karen) Jurgens and Randy (Ann) Jurgens; nieces and nephews, Thyra (Ryan), Brian, Andrew (Ali), Elizabeth, and John; great-niece, Lilly; and special friend, Teri Schlub. Predeceased by her parents and sister, Joyce.

Memorial service will be 11 am Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Grace United Methodist Church, 3555 McFarland Rd, Rockford, IL 61114 with Pastor Pam Rossmiller officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 Tuesday, prior to the service in the church. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park. Memorials to Grace United Methodist Church.

    I am so sorry to hear of Grace's passing. Had I known sooner I would have attended her services. I am saddened to hear of her passing. She was so kind and always a happy person.
